The house
A former wine estate, made for gathering round the table
Silvia and Alexandre welcome you to a former wine estate in the Mâconnais, with its old stone walls, timber beams and dovecote. Family gatherings, get-togethers with friends: people come here in groups, and you always have the whole house to yourselves.
The living areas bring everyone together around a table for 12: a proper, fully equipped kitchen, a library sitting room with games, a utility room and a desk area. The sleeping quarters are split between two suites, the Pigeonnier (the dovecote) and the Fenil (the former hayloft).

Getting together
Family reunions, birthdays and get-togethers
The big table seats 12, the kitchen is made for celebration meals, and the garden keeps the children busy while the adults linger on the terrace. Our guests come here for birthdays, weekends with friends, hen and stag parties, and Christmas by the old stone wall.
The weekend package runs from Friday to Sunday, with check-out at 4 pm on Sunday: time for one last lunch before the drive home.

Your hosts
Silvia and Alexandre
We let our holiday home directly and through Airbnb, where we have been Superhosts since 2018. Silvia answers your messages, helps you plan your stay and is there for you until you leave, whether you need a tip or something unexpected comes up: we live in the other half of the house.
Married since 2007, we are both self-employed: Silvia is a sworn translator and Alexandre works as a digital strategy consultant. After the first part of our careers in Paris, we moved to southern Burgundy at the end of 2012, where Alexandre has family roots on his mother’s side, to bring up our two daughters in the best possible surroundings.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can the gite accommodate?
Up to 12 people, and we always let it as a whole. The base rate covers 8 people; above that, there is a supplement of €25 per person per night.
Where is the gite in relation to Cluny?
In La Vineuse sur Frégande (71250), Saône-et-Loire, less than 10 minutes’ drive from Cluny.
When is the pool open?
From mid-April to mid-October, heated depending on the weather. It is for our guests only and is not supervised: parents sign a waiver.
What are the minimum stays and check-in times?
2 nights minimum; in July and August, 6 nights minimum, Saturday to Friday or Sunday to Saturday. Check-in is from 5 pm and check-out before 10 am, except with the weekend package (Friday to Sunday): check-in from 4 pm, check-out at 4 pm on Sunday.
Can I book without going through a booking platform?
Yes: choose your dates in the calendar and send us your request, and we will reply personally. A 30% deposit on booking, the balance 14 days before arrival, and no online payment.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed, and the house is non-smoking.
